Jenna Bush Hager almost dropped an F-bomb on the “Today” show on Wednesday. Check out the video below.
Hager was co-hosting the 9 a.m. hour of the morning show with Al Roker and Sheinelle Jones when the unexpected incident went down. The trio were discussing the 20th anniversary of the hit horror film Scream, and someone on the “Today” staff apparently thought it would be a good idea to scare the TV personalities with none other than Ghostface himself. To say it did not go over well would probably be an understatement.
As they were mid-conversation, Ghostface suddenly appeared on stage behind Hager and Jones. The scare prompted the former First Daughter to express her fright with the F-word. Fortunately, though, right after she started making the “F” sound, Hager quickly caught herself and threw her hand over her mouth. She then announced, “Y’all, that was almost a really, really bad idea! The word F almost came out! I don’t know who you are, but that’s not cool!”
Roker was actually amused, saying, “You almost pooped a potato!” After watching a replay of the moment, Jones admitted her heart was “pounding,” but then went right back to discussing the film with Roker. That led a still-disturbed Hager to exclaim, “How are y’all talking about this still?! That was scary!” Watch the full video below!
